7:00 AM. Everything is awakening over Cassis in Provence. The sky is grey this morning, painting a surreal landscape against the ochre-colored cliffs of Cap Canaille. I sit on a rock, right at the water's edge. I turn my gaze inward, allowing myself to receive guidance for the day ahead. I am in pure contemplation of the living world. My senses are heightened; I can feel and hear the continuous movement of the waves. I watch the sea foam as it tries to carve a path toward me, as if it deeply desires to meet me.
 
In that moment, a dialogue unfolds between the sea and me. It is this very conversation—between the foam and what it wished to whisper to me—that I captured in the artwork The Memory of Water. If you listen closely, you will hear all the secrets it stands ready to tell you.
