Visionary Art Inspiration:
 
If there could be a paradise on earth, this artwork might take us there. While creating it, I was captivated by the intensity of its azure blue, the kind found on certain islands like Tahiti or even in Australia. We may be traveling to an unknown land, into something wild, where humans have not yet set foot... or perhaps just barely, fully aware of the importance of respecting the local fauna, flora, and ecosystem. To not transform it by one's presence, to preserve the living, to blend into the ecosystem to safeguard it rather than destroy it. One can almost hear birds of paradise singing their courtship displays. Here, we are merely spectators; nature is wild, in its natural state. Let us preserve it as it is. Let us take every step in full mindfulness, so we do not distort this island, this earth, this sacred place. We are only passing through. This place is a portal of transition.
 
I painted this artwork in 2017, and it also connects me to the Calanques of Marseille-Cassis. Our lands are of utter beauty. It is essential to preserve them.
