Due to the contemplative nature of my artworks, I invite the audience to sit on chairs placed before certain canvases, to experience the artwork from their own inner world.

This is not about interpreting the piece, but about FEELING it, about entering into Active Meditation with the art.

Close your eyes, find silence, breathe. Simply return to yourself and to the presence of the moment. Let go of your external reality, of who you think you are, your roles, your masks, your "to-do lists"... and simply be.

Just for an instant. Return to the most important person: yourself.

Then, open your eyes with a fresh perspective on life.

Observe the artwork, its environment, the people... What has changed? The setting is the same, you see the same protagonists in your scene, and opening your eyes, you are facing the same artwork.

Yet, everything is so different. YOU have changed.

Something has shifted within, and your gaze upon your outer reality is no longer the same. The change comes from the inside, and because you have changed, your outer reality has changed.

This is the unique experience that Artist Evelyne Toromanian guides her audience through. It is not about "understanding" art; it is about feeling it, allowing it to set something in motion within you, letting it transform what is ready to be transformed.
